The whole experience was excellent. I had previously been told that nothing more could be done for my extensive varicose & thread veins. However, I was put at ease immediately & after examination & assessment was reassured that a significant improvement could be achieved. This was subsequently followed by 2 treatment appointments. I felt 100% confident in Dr Regi and his team, they were efficient, friendly, always kept me fully informed about treatment & aftercare. I have recently taken the stockings off after the second treatment session & am so pleased with such a brilliant result. I can highly recommend the vein centre, my whole experience is hugely positive.

From the receptionist to the consultant, everyone I came into contact with were professional, friendly and efficient. I felt completely at ease. The location is excellent too. I would recommend the practice with no hesitation.

I have put off having vein treatment for 20 years my legs where unsightly. After being recommended to you by a GP I took the plunge and I am delighted with the results had I known how simple the procedure would be I would of had the treatment years ago it has certainly been life changing. My legs no longer ache and throb in the hot weather and when I have been standing. All I can say is if you are thinking of the procedure definitely go have a consultation I would like to thank Mr Duncan Drury who is very approachable, professional and makes you feel very reassured if you have any concerns

After years of living with my varicose veins I finally plucked up the courage to have treatment, and I’m so pleased I did. My whole experience at the Veincentre Nottingham was exceptional and I would highly recommend them. Mr Duncan Drury and his team were very professional and friendly which made me feel at ease throughout my treatment. The procedure itself was not painful just some discomfort at times, but was 100% worth it, my only wish is that I had done it years ago!! It’s only early days but I’m already so pleased with the results, and it’s all down to Mr Drury and his team!

I can’t recommend the Nottingham Veincentre highly enough. The whole experience was good: completely different in its efficiency, level of information and approach to private healthcare. I really liked the upfront pricing and the ‘one stop shop’ approach that meant I was not subject to multiple appointments (1st consultation, scan, consultation for scan results and options, treatment, follow up etc): I had 2 appointments instead of 5! The staff are all friendly and welcoming, both clinical and reception. The results? Fantastic, I’m so pleased and it’s given me the confidence to get my legs out again!!

I would not hesitate to recommend the Nottingham Vein Centre. The reception is very welcoming, beautifully clean and bright, and immediately made me relax. Gemma, the receptionist, was very professional, informative and put me at ease. It was a lovely touch to be offered a cup of coffee on arrival. I didn't have to wait both times that I visited for an appointment. Dr Duncan Drury was very thorough in his explanation of both the treatment and the ultrasound scan he carried out. I felt very reassured about what the treatment would entail. I particularly liked the fact that they offered a 'See and treat' service which meant I was able to supply photos and details about my varicose veins prior to the visit and then to have the diagnosis confirmed on the day, together with treatment in the same visit. The EVLA, which is used to treat the root cause of the veins, was a little uncomfortable but only in one area and Dr Duncan immediately stopped until I was ready to proceed again. I then had the foam therapy which I didn't feel at all. Throughout the process he talked to me as did the nurse ( I'm sorry I can't remember her name but she was also very friendly). When back at home, I continued to wear the support stockings, even in the shower, as was recommended, drying them in situ with the hair drier. I had very little discomfort at all. I did use Arnica gel to the bruising as I have found in the past it greatly helps me with any swelling. I got back straight away to walking the dog twice a day. As time went on I couldn't believe the change in my veins, particularly to a very unsightly, bulbous one on the top of my legs which looked almost like a bunch of grapes and I was very aware of people noticing it when at the swimming baths etc. It has pretty much disappeared and the irritating itching with it. I've noticed good improvement with the other veins too and my legs don't swell later in the day like they used to. I returned this morning for a follow up and just required a little more foam therapy to the back of my ankles. Again my treatment was brilliant. I really wish I'd gone for treatment before- the veins started when I was pregnant with my son who is 27 now!! A big thank you goes to Dr Duncan, his nurses and Gemma the receptionist!

Nice clean building. Staff were great on arrival, always talking while waiting and offered free drinks. Dr explained everything clearly and understanding and also very chatty which is good when having operation. Time flew by, didn’t seem I was there that long at all. Also the same on follow up. Would recommend coming here.

To paraphrase Samuel Johnson: In vein the surgeon's angry shock In vein the foaming wands, unharmed within th'elastic sock anon the patient stands Yes, some aches and pains afterwards for a few weeks, but the reversal of 30 years deterioration is well worth it. Compression stockings now in the bin after 15 years.
